We have won the Second Prize in the Entrance Pavillion to Parliament of Galicia Contest in Santiago de Compostela. Our proposal is based in the generation of a new main access to the building, opening the space to the citizens. With Arkylab & Michael Sweeney
Second Prize in the Tui Riverfront Contest
In the Competition for the Reorganization of Miño Riverfront in Tui (Pontevedra, Spain), our project stems from the importance of reviving what exists, the old town and the city walls, as well as recovering the floodplain of the cotarel regato, in a way that leads to a gentle recovery of the river's edge that can adapt to various needs & uses.
"People" Exhibition at the USC
Within the investigation initiatives and dissemination about refugees and displaces people, Patricia Muñiz and Gabriel Tizón develop the exhibition named "People" located at the "Fonseca Palace", University of Santiago de Compostela. The exhibition will be open until 13rd June.

On Thursday 16th, 20.00 pm, we will be at the Old Convent of “Santa María de los Reyes” in Seville, within the Series of Conferences of the winners from the Spanish Architecture and Urbanism Biennial, for the presentation of the Healthy Habitat Urban Strategy, as well as others related. On-line Conference with the Pontifical University of Perú
The 8th May we will be giving our first online conference for the Lima Architecture School (Pontifical University of Perú). We will talk about urban design projects and city revitalizing strategies.
XVIII COAG Awards
Patricia Muñiz has received the COAG Award for Divulgation, Investigation and Design, for the "Exodus" Exhibition. It reflects the situation of millions of refugees around the world. It received the price because of combining an investigation project about forced displacements with the design of the exhibition space, contributing to the divulgation and raising awareness about the problem.
Urban Strategies International Conference
On Friday 22nd, we will be moderating a colloquium between Alvaro Domingues, Miriam García and Zaida Muxi, which will take place during the second session of the Urban Strategies International Conference, organized by the CESUGA-USJ Architecture School.
The debate will focus on the process of land re-equilibrium addressing the urban limits, the land resilience and the residential alternatives.
River Miño Trans-Boundary Plan Presentation
The River Miño Trans-Boundary Plan, in which we have been working during the last months, was presented yesterday. This project evaluates the mobility between Galician and Portuguese towns located on the River Miño bank, and proposes pilot projects to upgrade accessibility and coexistence spaces.

The 25th January, we will visit the new Pilgrims Hostel of Ourense, within the series named “Olladas na Rua”, and organized by the Ourense Architects School Delegation.
XIV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism
The winners of the XIV Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism will be exhibiting tomorrow Tuesday at the “Arqueria de Nuevos MInisterios” (Madrid). Our project named “Healthy Habitat” Urban Strategy will continue its itinerancy through Paris and New York.
Refugees and intern displacements. Housing solutions.
An esential part of the Studio´s work is focused in investigation. Patricia Muñiz has been working for the last years on housing solutions for refugees. Recently, the publication that she has been coordinating (“Refugees and intern displacements. Housing Solutions”) has received the “Manuel Castillo 2018” Price from the Valencia University. An award that pretends to stimulate and support academic and scientific investigation in the fields of cooperation, peace and human development.
