“CASA LOURIDO” (LOURIDO´S HOUSE). 2012
Salvaterra. Pontevedra
In collaboration with Silvia González
This Project is integrated in a natural way on an irregular plot.
Volumetrically, the home is conceived as a mixture of geometric forms, which fit in an orthogonal way, orientated towards the sun and adapted to the environment. A new upper level is added with a bay window.
Three bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and two living rooms compose the whole program. It all interacts with the natural landscape that surrounds the home.
The resting spaces are allocated in front of the vegetation, receiving the rising light.
Externally, the ground level concludes on a landscaped flat roof, which provides visual continuity towards the horizontal topography, which is so common in this area.
On the other hand, a space of relation and stanza is raised up to the second floor, and opens all its gaps towards the vision of the landscape.
